FlipperCraft Pinball is an Australian micro manufacturing business setup by me; Tim Reid, to supply genuine reproduction Bally Williams pinball cabinets to collectors.
FlipperCraft Pinball was born out of the need for new cabinet options for my Geelong based, high end restoration business 'Hot Rodded Pins', a service which I am proud to say has served Australian pinball collectors for well over a decade now.
The replacement cabinets steadily developed into a new stand-alone product line, and it wasnt long before other restorers and restoration enthusiasts were curious about purchasing them to use as part of their own projects.
As such, a seperate business - 'FlipperCraft Pinball' was setup to define a clear seperation between my 'Hot Rodded Pins' restoration service and the manufacturing of replacement pinball cabinets.
As well as the cabinet manufacturing, FlipperCraft pinball offers its own range of hardware to support customers with their own restoration projects.
All of the cabinets and associated hardware are re-engineered in house by me, and are always modelled from original Bally Williams parts and samples. This is a time consuming process, but the tradeoff is an exponential saving in build time - as we have all the components and patterns required to run various cabinets and parts whenever enough demand exists.
As I begin the next chapter in this pinball journey, its exciting to think how adding a product line to run along-side the restoration business will help benefit the pinball community.
