WARRANTY AND DEFECTS

Warranty Period

FlipperCraft Pinball Hardware offers the cabinets and their associated hardware as high quality factory replacement parts - and all components should present in sound, brand new condition. 

FlipperCraft Pinball Hardware provides a 12-month limited return-to-base (RTB) warranty from the date of delivery for all pinball cabinets and components listed on our website.

This is standard practice for manufactured timber cabinets and comparable custom joinery products.

If for some reason you encounter any manufacturing issues with your cabinet, please get in contact with us via the contact us page and we will be more than happy to resolve any issues.

Coverage

This warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in workmanship

  • Structural faults in the cabinet construction

  • Major defects in painted or finished surfaces that are clearly visible from normal viewing conditions (see below)

Timber Characteristics & Acceptable Variations

Our cabinets are constructed using high-quality plywood and MDF. Timber is a natural material and is inherently subject to:

  • Grain variation

  • Minor movement, expansion, or contraction

  • Small surface undulations

  • Subtle texture or grain show-through under paint

These characteristics are part of the natural behaviour of wood and are not considered defects.

Cosmetic Defects – Viewing Standard

Cosmetic issues will only be considered a defect where the flaw is clearly visible from a viewing distance of 1.5 metres under normal indoor lighting. Imperfections that cannot be readily seen from this distance, or that do not affect the structural integrity or overall presentation, fall within acceptable manufacturing tolerances for a product such as this.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by shipping, handling, or improper installation/use

  • Environmental exposure (humidity, heat, direct sunlight, moisture) causing wood movement

  • Wear and tear, scratches, dents, or marks occurring after delivery

  • Modifications, drilling, routing, painting, or alterations made by the end user

  • Damage resulting from installing internal pinball components

  • Misuse or neglect

  • A change of heart

  • Misinterpretation of the product. Read our website thoroughly or email us for further information

  • Basic DIY adjustments to the cabient. We make every effort to build 'perfect' products but there may be instances where you will need to open up a hole or drill a hole missed during CNC machining. This falls within the factory replacement guidelines. These are a specialist restoration part and as such a level of DIY ability is assumed.

Claim Procedure

Any warranty claim must be submitted with:

  • Proof of purchase

  • Photographs of the proposed defect from a normal viewing distance (1.5 meters) and close-up

  • A description of the issue

FlipperCraft Pinball Hardware reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund at its discretion.
